How does the shoptimizer® rate-me work?
Simply place your smartphone on the shoptimizer or scan the QR code, and your customer will be taken directly to your Google review page.
When you use our shoptimizer, your customer is redirected straight to your company's Google review page. With just a single click, they can leave a positive 5-star review and thereby boost your company's reputation.
The shoptimizer uses NFC to forward to the desired platform. This means that NFC must also be activated on the scanning smartphone.
On the iPhone, NFC is in the tip at the top and on Android devices, it is in the middle of the smartphone.
How to activate NFC can be found in the respective instructions (Android or iOS) below.
What does the annual service fee include?
The service fee of just €57 per year includes semi-annual evaluations of your shoptimizer usage. These can be used to improve company performance and identify strong months for future campaigns. There is no long-term commitment, and it can be cancelled annually at any time.

Sustainability and social responsibility are of the utmost importance to us as a young start-up from Austria.
SUSTAINABILITY:
Our shoptimizers are crafted from Austrian wood sourced from sustainable forestry. In our marketing tool, wood is the primary material, and only the attachments, such as the NFC chip, are made of plastic. However, these can be recycled by material type. We see beauty in nature, and as nature is never the same, that is a good thing. Different growth rings in the wood make every shoptimizer a unique piece.
SOCIAL ASPECT:
The wood is processed directly in Salzburg by the social workshop Pro Mente. Pro Mente helps the long-term unemployed re-enter the workforce. The blanks are manufactured carefully and with a great love for wood.
The individual customization of the engraving is carried out by the Ruperti Werkstätten of Caritas. The Ruperti Werkstätten Altötting is an institution for the integration of people into working life; recognized as a workshop for people with physical or mental disabilities. With great attention to detail and enjoyment of their work, our shoptimizer products are refined in this social facility. Furthermore, the employees here receive support and guidance in their profession.
PERFECTION:
We maintain a very good relationship with both companies and support them in the production process. It is important to us that our shoptimizers are delivered to our customers in perfect condition, both visually and functionally. Perfection is our driving force and our absolute goal. That is why we take a lot of time for the production and inspection of our products, ensuring that you, as our customer, receive a unique, perfected marketing tool.
PERSPECTIVES:
Since we realize that a wood look may not be suitable for every company, we at shoptimizer are working on a variant made of Corian. Corian consists of stone with a very small amount of plastic. It is a compromise to avoid a purely plastic solution.
We want to bring the power of nature into companies and also give future generations the chance to lead a carefree life and produce virtually no waste that cannot be recycled.

How do I use the Shoptimizer with an Apple iPhone?
With all newer iPhones from Xs, the NFC connection is permanently switched on and does not have to be activated separately. On iPhones, the NFC reader is located in the upper area of the smartphone, so it is important to tilt the iPhone slightly forward and move it towards the Shoptimizer. A link opens up for the user at the top of the screen, which must be clicked to enable forwarding to your channel.
The iPhone 6-8 models are an exception, here the reader has to be activated very briefly in the settings in order to be able to establish a smooth connection. You can find out more about this in our instruction videos above.
How do I use Shoptimizer with an Android smartphone?
On most cell phones that have Android installed as the operating system, the NFC reader is located in the middle on the back of the smartphone. It is therefore important that the customer also moves his mobile phone in the direction of the Shoptimizer.
With some cell phones, the NFC reader is not automatically activated and must be activated by clicking in the settings. You can find out more about this in our instruction videos above.
